Step into your next chapter
I know how you might feel.
At several points in my life, I felt unfulfilled both professionally and personally. I wanted to change and move forward but felt daunted by the effort it would take. The process of self-empowerment seemed Herculean—like scaling a wall but never quite reaching the top.
That began to change when I discovered Changing for Good: A Revolutionary Six-Stage Program for Overcoming Bad Habits and Moving Your Life Positively Forward. Over time, I learned that the best way to get unstuck was to break down the challenge into a series of smaller steps—each with its own clear objective—and gradually move my life in the direction I wanted.
My approach to coaching
My approach to coaching is rooted in my experience as a marketing executive and later as an executive recruiter. For many years, I worked at some of the largest advertising agencies in roles of increasing responsibility, believing that was the path I wanted my career and life to take. But over time, I realized I was fundamentally unhappy. Through the power of positive psychology and a willingness to change, I was able to make the transition to a career that was truer to myself and values. It took time and a lot of hard work.
My recruiting experience has proven to be a great foundation for coaching. (I’m currently fulfilling the requirements to become a Certified Life Coach (CLP) from the International Coaching Federation). I’ve guided and counseled job seekers across all industries and at all levels on how to effectively position themselves in the market. I’ve asked deep, probing questions to help them clarify what they want out of their careers and lives. Too often, I’ve seen clients take the path of least resistance, staying in roles or occupations that no longer fulfill them.
Helping people let go of what’s holding them back so they can become who they dream of being is at the heart of my practice. If you’re ready to step into your next chapter, let’s take that first step together.
